Lions serve.
It’s that simple, and it has been since we first began serving Columbia and surrounding communities in 1939.
That first year the Lions raised $120 to buy eyeglasses for 15 children in Columbia schools and we’ve been serving the community ever since.
The Columbia Lions Club is a part of Lions International, the largest service club in the world. Our mission is to empower our members and volunteer partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen our community and support those in need.
A big focus for this year’s initiative is collecting new & gently used sweaters and gloves to donate to veterans in VA hospitals or veterans that live in VA homes!
We are also on the lookout for:
Lip balm, shampoo, deodorant, nail clippers, eye drops, moisturizer, mints, chewing gum, hard candies, playing cards, crossword puzzles, journals, socks, and batteries.
Donate old cell phones!
Your old phones and used to purchase calling cards for our troops so they can stay connected with their families
Our local donation spot is at:
Little’s Beverage
1124 Lancaster Ave
Columbia PA
