Come take a walk down memory lane with vintage cars, great music, good friends and great food.
This unique car show is held in downtown Columbia within walking distance of shops, restaurants, two microbreweries, Columbia Market House, Northwest River Trail and the picturesque Veterans Memorial Bridge. More than 400 cars are displayed on Locust Street between Front and 6th streets. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit groups.
Since 2014, the Lions have donated more than $42,000 to local charities from the car show proceeds. They include: Off the Streets Susquehanna, CHI St. Joseph, Janson Park, Columbia Creative Factory, Susquehanna Heritage, Columbia Public Library, Columbia Borough Police, Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard, Vet 21 Salute Honor Guard, Hospice & Community Care, CBAA, Hands Across the Street, Power Packs Project, Glatfelter Memorial Field Foundation, Mount Zion Cemetery, and Columbia Food Bank.
The car show is always the 3rd Saturday in June and is held rain or shine.
Proceeds benefit 96.1 SOX Toy Challenge on the Bridge, Janson Park Playground, 11-11-11 Club (which sponsors the Veterans Day Luncheon) and Lions vision/eyeglasses project.
