The Columbia Lions Club is thrilled to announce the return of our annual Thunder on the River Car Show in downtown Columbia. Last year’s event showcased more than 500 vehicles and attracted thousands of spectators
This year’s car show will take place on June 21. Attendees will enjoy a stunning variety of vehicles, including antique cars, muscle cars, imports, trucks, hot rods and motorcycles. The event draws thousands of visitors to our town, providing an opportunity to explore local restaurants and shops while admiring 500 of the most extraordinary vehicles in the region.
We invite you to join us in making this event a success by becoming a sponsor. To ensure we can properly recognize your generosity, please submit your donation by April 30.
As always, 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to organizations in our community. This year’s beneficiaries include:
Columbia Borough Police Department drone program
Your support will make a huge difference for these organizations. In 2024, the Columbia Lions Club donated $15,000 to five nonprofit organizations, and since 2014, proceeds from the car show have totaled $68,000 in community contributions.
