THUNDER ON THE RIVER

COLUMBIA, PA CAR, TRUCK & MOTORCYCLE SHOW
June 21, 2025 | 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. | Locust Street Columbia, PA

Come take a walk down memory lane with vintage cars, great music, good friends and great food. 

This unique car show is held in downtown Columbia within walking distance of shops, restaurants, microbreweries, Columbia Market House, Northwest River Trail and the picturesque Veterans Memorial Bridge. More than 500 cars are displayed on Locust Street between Front and 6th streets. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations.

Since 2014, the Lions have donated more than $68,000 to local nonprofits from the car show proceeds. They include: Memorial Day Parade, Columbia Borough Fire Department, Veterans Day Luncheon, Toys for Tots, Off the Streets Susquehanna, Habitat for Humanity, Janson Park, Columbia Public Library, Columbia Borough Police, Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard, Hospice & Community Care, CBAA Youth Sports, Glatfelter Memorial Field and Columbia Food Bank.

The car show is always the 3rd Saturday in June and is held rain or shine.

2025 DETAILS:

WHERE: Locust Street between Front Street (PA 441) and 6th Street. Enter the show via North 2nd Street, North 4th Street or North 6th Street.
 
WHEN: Arrive between 7:00 A.M. and 9:45 AM. The show runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. NO CARS WILL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE SHOW BEFORE 7:00 AM. NO CARS MAY LEAVE BEFORE 2:00 PM. YOUR SHOW PLACEMENT IS BASED ON YOUR TIME OF ARRIVAL. **NO SPECIAL PLACEMENT REQUESTS**
 
Please bring two non-perishable food items or a donation for the Columbia Food Bank
 
REGISTRATION: $15. 525 vehicles max. NO SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS.** You will receive an email confirmation after your registration has been received (check your spam folder). Postcards will be mailed when an email address is not available.  Call (717) 715-3592 if confirmation is not received.  The first 200 registrants receive a dash plaque. The show is held rain or shine.
 
PACKET PICKUP: Pick up your show entrance packet at Mountz, Kreiser & Fleckenstein Law Firm, 553 Locust St., Columbia on the following dates:
 
June 12 – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
 
June 13 – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
 
June 16 – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
 
June 17 – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
 

Early packet pickup is encouraged. Same day packet pickup will also be available in front of 345 Locust St.

 
INFO: Best of Show award, Barry Doutrich Memorial award, trophies and door prizes will be awarded. The festive atmosphere will include a band, food stands and revving of engines at 12:00 noon to simulate Thunder on the River.

75+ TROPHIES each with a $10 gift card

Proceeds benefit Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard, Our Home of Hope, Columbia Borough Police Department, and Columbia Animal Shelter.
