For more than 30 years, the Columbia Lions Club and, before them the Jaycees, have delivered Christmas food boxes to families in need in Columbia, Marietta, Wrightsville and surrounding areas. The project is co-sponsored by the Sunsnappers.
The boxes include a turkey, mashed potatoes, butter, milk, eggs, cereal, fruit and vegetables. The project is supported by donations from local businesses and individuals.
Registration is set to open October 15, 2025.

Please make sure:
- Only 1 family member needs to register per household. We deliver 600 boxes… one per household.
- Eligible zip codes are ONLY 17512, 17368, 17582, 17554, 17547, 17575, 17538
- Deadline for registration is 11/30/2025 or when 600 families are registered.
- Families, please make sure you put in the correct address information and delivery instructions, so we can find your address.
- You will receive an automated email confirmation of your food box registration. If you don’t receive this email, please check your SPAM folder.
- Please plan to be home on December 21st to watch for the delivery driver. A family member must be home to accept the food box. Undeliverable boxes will be delivered to families on the waiting list.
- Senior apartment residents (Trinity House, St. Peters, Sylvan Retreat, Marietta Senior Apartments) we provide hot Christmas dinners to you (NOT food boxes), so no need to register using this form! Sign-up sheets for the hot Christmas dinners will be placed in your lobby the last week of November!
Online registration for the 2024 Columbia Christmas Food Boxes is CLOSED, as our list is full. You can call 717-715-3592 and leave a message to be placed on the waiting list in case of any cancellations or undeliverable boxes. Please watch for the opening of the 2025 registration around the end of October.
